Nice to meet you! I'm Beth...
I was born and raised just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. In 2010, I graduated from Atlanta School of Massage and spent many years as a nanny to two children. I fell in love with being a caretaker and realized that being a comforting and fun presence in children’s lives was important to me. During my time as a nanny, I continued my massage therapy practice part-time, and also worked at a chiropractic office that catered to wellness for families. Experience taught me that massage could benefit children at an early age, and thus I began my search for how to combine both worlds of being a child caretaker and massage therapist.
I stumbled upon a program called Liddle Kidz and have enjoyed taking courses from Tina Allen, an internationally respected educator, author and expert in pediatric and infant massage. After the very first day of her first class, I immediately knew that pediatric massage had to be my long lasting and forever career. My goal has become helping families and children through nurturing touch. Over the past five years, I have studied a variety of massage therapies for children: Pediatric Massage, Infant Massage, Touch Therapy for Cancer, Touch Therapy for Autism, and Touch Therapy for Trauma. I am currently a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist, Infant Massage Teacher, and specialize in infants and children with special healthcare needs.
In addition to pediatric massage therapy, I work at Phoenix Wellness Center, and for Vinings Massage and Wellness on their Children's Healthcare of Atlanta team. I enjoy volunteering and supporting Stand Up for Kids (to end the cycle of youth homelessness throughout the United States), 9 to 5 (Winning Justice for Working Women), and many other non-profits in Atlanta. I believe supporting local organizations that help families and children will create a long-term effect on wellness, and build a stronger bond in my community.
